App privacy policy effective October 21, 2026

About this policy

Pixo is a fuse-bead pattern app for adults aged 18 or older. This policy describes the account, creative work, community and other information handled by the app. Contact for privacy, access, correction or data deletion questions. You can also use Me › Help & Support in the app.

Information the app handles

  • Account and access. Your email address, a one-way password hash, account identifiers and session information support sign-in. Email addresses are not verified and are not displayed to other makers. A device-generated identifier and session support guest access.
  • Your profile. Your nickname and any avatar you upload are visible to other signed-in makers. A new account starts with a blank avatar.
  • Patterns and community activity. Published grid data, titles, descriptions, finished-piece photos, comments and follow relationships are public within the service. Saved pattern snapshots are stored privately in your account.
  • Local work. Canvas drafts, post drafts and make-along progress are stored on your device. App preferences and session information also use local storage.
  • Messages and gifts. The app handles the text, photos, voice recordings and gift notes you exchange, along with gift activity.
  • Support and safety. Reports, blocks and support tickets contain the information you submit and relevant context for the request.
  • Purchase activity. Buds ledger records include an order identifier, product, platform, amount and status. Apple or Google handles payment details; Pixo does not receive your card details.

Before sending a message

The current service does not restrict message records to conversation participants. Messages should not be treated as private. Do not send sensitive personal information.

Why it is used

Information is used to operate accounts, keep creative work, display public posts and community activity, deliver messages and gifts, handle reports and support requests, and record purchase activity.

Pixo’s app policy states that data is not sold, advertising or tracking SDKs are not used, and non-essential analytics are not run.

Photos, camera and microphone

The system photo picker provides the images you choose for a profile, finished piece or conversation. Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. Microphone access is requested for voice-message recording.

You can manage permissions in your device settings or through the app’s permission settings. Declining a permission prevents the relevant photo or audio action; it does not require you to grant unrelated access.

Storage and service providers

Cloud records are stored by the app’s configured API provider. Uploaded photos and voice recordings are kept in file storage. Apple App Store or Google Play handles store purchases where available.

Public posts, profiles and community activity are visible within the service. Message access has the limitation described above. The app validates required fields before publishing, but does not provide human review or image moderation.

Retention and account deletion

Local drafts and progress remain on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Hiding a message or clearing a conversation changes your own view; it does not erase the server record or the other participant’s history.

Deleting an account ends access through the app and clears its local account workspace. The account record is retained to prevent reuse. Server identity records and previously shared content are not automatically erased; shared content and other records may remain stored or visible.

Automatic server erasure and a verified server retention schedule are not available in this version. Contact for a data request. See account deletion instructions.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete your posts and comments, hide chat history, manage saved patterns, and block makers in the app. You can delete your account under Settings › Account › Delete account.

For access, correction or erasure requests, email . Describe the request and the account it concerns, without including your password. Account deletion and removal of all server data are different actions; the limitations above also apply to data requests.

Adults only

Pixo is intended only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it. Contact the privacy email above if you believe a minor has provided information through the app.
